Boo Boos
Boo Boos
by Mary Cassella
If you think I can't handle hurt
you're burnt
The babies I sit get boo boos
and I sit with them and kiss them
not away
because the pain still stays
And the kiss feels weird
But it always puts a smile on his face
Or at least stops the tears
because I assuaged his fears
that nobody cares
